In 2020 only 6% of OSA patients chose or were given the option of Oral Appliance Therapy. But that tide is changing<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

That year SomnoMed launched our Medical Initiative. A program committed to increasing the adoption of Oral Appliance Therapy in the Medical community. We created a team of dedicated field-based Business Development Representatives focusing on education.

At the same time, Philips recalled millions of CPAP devices. This left an ongoing chronic shortage of machines. While the CPAP tides had already begun turning, the CPAP recall it drained the ocean. Sleep Physicians had no other option than to consider non-CPAP treatments.

The rapid adoption of new Home Sleep Testing and Telemedicine has made OSA diagnosis much more straightforward. As a result, patients are finding faster ways to get a diagnosis and are discovering more treatment options.
