Reclaim your life with SomnoDent

Robert’s search for a good night’s sleep was long and frustrating. In fact, he almost died before finding the right solution. That’s why he’s driven to share his story.

He was told that CPAP was the only treatment for his Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). He felt desperate and trapped because in his words, he “hated it” and “it didn’t work” for him. He had been sleeping in the spare room because the drone of the CPAP machine meant his wife wasn’t sleeping either. So they were both miserable.

Luckily, a friend suggested he try a SomnoMed Oral Device.  He had never heard of an Oral Device for OSA, but he was desperate for an alternative to CPAP. He then tried a SomnoDent.

“I felt it overnight, I actually had deep sleep and dreams again. The SomnoDent device is gold, I can’t say enough about it.”

The SomnoDent didn’t just offer Robert a remedy—it gave him his life back. Today, he enjoys tranquil nights without the fear of suffocation. And what’s more, he can once again share his bed, and his love of life, with his beloved wife.

Can’t use CPAP? You’re not alone

CPAP is the go-to solution for OSA and can be a very effective treatment – but only if used every night. For a lot of people like Robert,  CPAPs cumbersome masks, noisy pumps, and confining hoses make it impossible. If you have trialed and failed with CPAP – you are not alone.

Clinical studies have shown 50% of CPAP users quit using it within one year*. But there’s light at the end of this tunnel—there’s an alternative, and it’s transforming lives.

Smaller, lighter, quieter

SomnoMed has revolutionised treatment for mild to moderate OSA with an Oral Device. Yes, it looks like a simple mouthguard. You place it in your mouth at bed time and go to sleep. No pump noise, no face mask, no hoses and no forced air.

But don’t let this simplicity fool you! Many years of research and development have gone into this treatment. It isn’t new, it is a well established proven treatment option for OSA and snoring*.

Increased Airflow & Better Sleep

As you can see in the animation below, the appliance slips into the mouth. It repositions the lower jaw and tongue forward. This opens the airway and prevents it from collapsing when breathing. The user experiences increased air flow as breathing is not obstructed. Incidences of sleep apnea reduce. Less waking up results in better sleep.

3 Reasons Why SomnoDent Devices Are Unique

1. Dentists customise the fit. They are trained to get a perfect impression every time. The better the device fits, the better the results. “Boil and bite” or home kits will never get close to fitting like a SomnoMed Device.

2. Our device combines two materials; a harder structural material and a softer inner lining. Having dual materials maximises durability and comfort.

3. We mill the device robotically from the scan, creating a perfect fit every time. This precision fit means better results.

If you are currently using CPAP, but struggle with the downsides. If you’ve given up, or not even started because treatment looks worse than the disease. There’s no need to struggle anymore. There is an alternative.

A SomonoDent offers comparable results to CPAP*. Oral treatment can change lives. You’ve just watched Robert talk about how it changed his life. He would tell you not to ignore the symptoms; it can be fatal. Take the next step to get the sleep you need for a happy, healthy, and well-rested life.
